Installation
- Download the plugin.

Usage
After installation and activation, follow these steps to use the plugin:
- Navigate to “Appearance > Widgets”.
- Drag the “Relevant Product Categories Widget” into the desired widget area.
- Set the title for the widget (optional).
- Save the widget.
Now, whenever a user performs a search on your site, the widget will display all relevant product categories based on the search results.
Shortcode
You can also use the plugin’s shortcode to display the widget anywhere in your posts, pages, or custom post types. Use the following shortcode:
[relevant_categories]
If you want to specify a title for the widget using the shortcode, use the following format:
[relevant_categories title="Your Title"]
Just replace “Your Title” with your desired title.
Styling
The widget uses the CSS class .relevant-categories-widget for styling. You can add custom styles in your theme’s CSS file to change the appearance of the widget. By default, the plugin comes with a relevant-categories-widget.css file that provides basic styling.
Remember, this plugin requires that you have an e-commerce system with product categories set up on your WordPress site. The plugin is designed to work with product post types and product_cat taxonomy. Please ensure that your e-commerce system is compatible.
